About me

I am Chamal Prasad Jayasekara. A Sri Lankan born. Technically, Photography is not my profession but it is my passion. My love for photography was started when my father bought me a Kodak KB10 film camera, I was 14 years by then, aiming the lenses at every moving things, and I was lucky to have the opportunity to see huge pythons, wild birds and large number of wild elephants attracted by sugar plantations during my childhood. But with my studies, it didn’t go well further :D . After many years, I was introduced to Digital world of Photography by my friends.

Love for nature did not happen accidentally. I was born & raised with it. A sunrise or a dawn over a beautiful landscape was my life experience and a dream making into reality. A roaming elephant or a flying bird is just the freedom that I imagined. That’s why Landscape & Wildlife became my favourite areas in Photography.
